Horticulture

Aged Care

Our population are now living longer than ever before, with the average life expectancy reaching 82 years, however for these to be happy and healthy years, quality Aged Care is in huge demand.

Covering everything from Community Workers, Caregivers and Councillors our course content will provide these individuals with all they need to know to support an older person and understand the changes to their lives and help them develop strategies to cope as they get older.

Hospitality

Hospitality courses offer students a chance to further their passion for food and drink and learn how to apply their expertise in a professional setting.

Courses in this sector are formulated to equip you with the practical skills and background knowledge you need to accomplish customer service, communicative and organisational tasks within any organisation.

Business Administration

This course will open the door to any business environment, equipping you with a variety of skills that will make you invaluable to any employer.

Our course content is based on real life experience not text book based material and focuses on the individual and the skills required to problem solve and use your initiative and will prepare you for the business world, where you will be able to effectively contribute to the successful running of any business.

Retail

Our course will enable you to work in a variety of retail sectors and provide learning outcomes that will put you on the path to success in the retail industry.

You will learn core front line skills, develop sales skills and learn to deliver exceptional customer service, handling customer complaints and how to close a sale in your retail career.

Harvesting and Haulage

We cover essential aspects of the forest industry such as:

Training in the harvesting of timber using harvester and forwarder machinery, including optimising the resource
Training and assessment in the haulage of timber in the forest
Scheduling and maintenance of machinery
Allied skills such as chemical use, chainsaw operation and fire fighting
The management of environmental risk, such as biodiversity, soil, water and cultural features

Warehousing

It involves a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, with some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures and within known time constraints.

Customer Engagement

This qualification reflects the role of individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who undertake complex customer interactions, often as a team leader and with significant authority to delegate.

Duties at this level are varied and may include responding to complex customer requests handling complaints, coaching staff and completing related administrative tasks
